Hi! I'm Luigi!

Hello Dear Friends,

It’s Luigi here and I am so glad you stopped by to read my wit and wisdom.  I am new to the world of blogging, but I promise to update frequently so you don’t get bored with me.

I have been the official mascot of the museum for about four years now.  I really like my job.  I sit out in front of the building most days (but never when it’s raining because that messes up my hair).  I greet visitors who think I am tiny and cute.  Little do they know that a powerful presence lives inside of me.  I might not have the biggest motor of the museum cars and I may not go very fast, but I have a heart of gold and a willingness to help just about anyone with their problems.

I give lots of advice.  Even when people don’t want it.  It’s my nature.  Let’s talk about taking the high road, shall we?

When people cut you off in traffic and look at you like it’s your fault, don’t get mad and road rage them.  You are far more effective if you just wave and smile – or smile and wave.  Whichever you prefer.   Most people are not expecting that reaction.  They know they did something wrong, and their little egos get in the way so they have to make it all about you.  Let it go.  It’s not worth wasting your time and energy on some driving fool who pulled a stunt to save five minutes of travel time.  You are bigger than that.  Take the high road.

And kids, when people try to bully you, it’s the same as when someone road rages your parents.  A road rager is nothing but a bully in a car.  They have the same issues of inadequacy as the kids at school who try to make your life miserable.  Don’t give them permission.  Take the high road.
